DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Oracle POS & Material Control (MC) solutions, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Applications, Timesoft HR solution, network infrastructure and other software & solutions deployed and used within the venue/company:
POS System, MC & Peripherals:
- Assist to create POS keys, update price and kitchen/bar settings
- Assist to create new POS users for venue (both front and backend)
- Assist to create MC users for venue
- Troubleshoot POS & printers hardware issues & log tickets for replacements
- Troubleshoot & support Credit Card terminals
PC, laptops, photocopier, networks & WIFI:
- Troubleshoot on all reported issues related to venues’ operation (minor repairs if possible)
- Backup and Reformat/Upgrade System/Software
- Install software for all venue users where required
- Provide and manage 1st and 2nd level trouble-shooting of hardware and software issues raised
- Manage relevant external vendors
- Working days & hours –Tuesday to Saturday from 1pm to 10pm with one hour meal break
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by IT Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or higher qualification holder in relevant field;
- At least 2-4 years' relevant working experience in F&B and hospitality industry;
- Working knowledge of database management system, POS System, F&B inventory solutions, and Windows Server is added advantage;
- Working knowledge of networking & firewall security software is also added advantage;
- Proficiency in MS Office;
- Responsible individual who is honest, diligent and full of integrity;
- Individual who takes initiatives and can work with minimal supervision;
- Preferably with operational management knowledge in the F&B/ Hospitality industry.
