JOB DESCRIPTION
A listed US MNC with long history in the manufacturing industry, with billion units of sales is currently seeking for a Costing Accountant to join their expanding team and help in leading the tracking and managing the company’s production costs.
The selected candidate will be reporting directly to a finance manager and have 3 staff members as direct reports. Key responsibilities include supervising the costing functions, overseeing the preparation and analysis of cost report, and costing audits, accruals, inventory excess and obsolete provisions, RMA and DMR review, and reconciliations for accounts and inventory.
The Costing Accountant can also expect some travelling at times, and to work closely with stakeholders from a different time zone.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Accounting, ACCA, or equivalent
- Having minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry, with audit experience in recognized audit firm
- Post-grad qualifications such as Master’s degree, CPA, or CA would be highly advantageous
- Proficient with Advanced Excel, proficiency in other accounting software is good to have
- Experience in managing a team
- Strong knowledge of U.S GAAP and SOX
