Job Responsibilities :
Manage the operation of applications laboratory and lead its team of scientists.
- Prioritize the laboratory work and technical service activities
- Lead and motivate the team of scientists and address development areas
- Ensure that laboratory operates in a safe manner and adhering to government laws
Provide technical service to customers to facilitate sales of products
- Engage the team to provide information to customers on product properties, performance, and benefits
- Visit customers to do product presentation, discussion, seminar, workshop, training
- Encourage collaboration with customers on technical projects; develop formulation concepts & ensure more
- Work on Innovation projects together with the R&D (GTI) teams, as well as Local Sales teams
Promote deep understanding of products
- Product training to sales, distributors, and customers
- Participate in seminars and exhibitions, conduct technical seminars and workshops with customers
Coordinate the activities of the lab with external partners
- Liaise with sales team on technical service requests, updates and results
- Work together with Business Development & Marketing to create concepts and also to support New Launches.
- Participate in Global Expert Circles on technical exchange.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Applied Science
- 5 years' working experience in applications laboratory and technical support
- Superior presentation, communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and develop relationships with internal service functions.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities and strong drive for results
- Willing to travel around 25%
