Accounts Clerk (Accounting & Finance)

Role: The Accounts Clerk is an entry level role, that will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting & finance function within the company, reporting to the company Accountant.


Responsibilities

  • Perform daily accounting & finance duties including receivables and payables processes, general ledger, tax and bank reconciliation, etc.;
  • Vetting of receivables and payables to ensure accuracy in financial reporting;
  • Prepare monthly financial and management reports;
  • Consolidate accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards;
  • Support audit and tax queries;
  • Manage timely closing process and reconciliations;
  • Support the operational and sales teams from an accounting and finance perspective.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Accounting & Finance or equivalent;
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles;
  • Strong knowledge and competenty in Microsoft Suite, in particular Excel;
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment;
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency;
  • Hands-on experience in ERP systems such as Oracle would be an advantage.
