- Formulate financial goals, policies, and operational procedures for the company and report to the general manager and board of directors as authorized.
- Improve the organizational structure of the company's financial system, define positions, clarify responsibilities, ensure financial accounting quality, reduce operational costs, streamline information flow, and enhance work efficiency.
- Describe the company's operational goals financially, providing a basis for management decisions, regularly review and assess operational risks, and take effective preventive measures.
- Enhance the internal financial management and audit system, lead the formulation of financial strategy, manage finances, and oversee internal controls.
- Coordinate with government departments (banks, industry and commerce, taxation, statistics, and audit) to protect the company's interests.
- Review financial statements, submit analyses and management reports, participate in investment project analysis and decision-making, track financial indicators, identify operational issues, and provide decision-making support.
- Collecting financial data from diverse sources, including databases, spreadsheets, surveys, and external APIs, with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that contribute to informed decision-making processes within the organization
- Developing and presenting comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate analysis results effectively. Translating complex financial data into clear and actionable insight
- Addressing business challenges through the application of data-driven insights, collaborating with cross-functional teams to devise effective solutions based on analysis outcomes.
- Ensure the efficient operation of the company's financial system, actively organize annual operating/budget planning, including capital and regular operations.
- Based on the company's actual operations, develop effective financing strategies, utilize various financial means, and maintain an optimal capital structure.
- Complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by the board of directors and the general manager.
The Requirements
● Legally authorized to work in Singapore without work/employment visa sponsorship.
● Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
● Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in similar field.
● Familiar with Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat and other office software.
● Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, or R.
● Experience in BI and visualization tools: PowerBI/Tableau, Streamlit, is preferred.
● Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques relevant to financial data.
● Proficient in English and Mandarin to liaise with China's stakeholder and counterpart.
● Possess strong interpersonal skills, organized, resourceful and good problem-solving abilities.
● Able to coordinate and communicate with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic atmosphere and comfortable working in a startup company
