We are looking for a Quantitative Analyst to drive the development and implementation of quantitative models for portfolio optimization. You will assist in generating investment ideas based on fundamental research and data analysis and help to develop and maintain quantitative valuation and trading models. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to manage portfolios based on their quantitative models.
Responsibilities
• Daily macroeconomic data recording and analysis of macroeconomic data to provide stakeholders early warning of stock, commodity, interest rate and foreign exchange price trends.
• Collect, clean, and analyze financial data from various sources, perform analysis and interpret results to assist in making impactful business decisions.
• Familiar with the logic of asset class linkage in macroeconomic data, and the correlation between stocks and commodities.
• Conduct thorough research on market trends, economic indicators, and relevant factors influencing investment decisions.
• Analyze and update stakeholders with early warning of emergencies and national policies impact on stocks, commodities, foreign exchange and bonds.
• Monitor and assess the impact of market events on the portfolio, making timely adjustments as necessary.
• Conduct analysis of Markowitz mean-variance models and asset correlations for different asset portfolios.
• Familiar with products such as bank loan, funds, bonds, and Phoenix Snowball.
Requirements
• Degree in a related field with two to five years of relevant industry experience.
• Familiar with Bloomberg's usage skills (portfolio report; Excel), making PPT and investment reports.
• Cross-asset knowledge (fixed income, commodities, FX, equities).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications.
• Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Capable of working autonomously while also collaborating effectively with colleagues from different departments within the company.
• Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with strong attention to details.
• Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills and ability to interact with global stakeholders.
