Biology Teacher

Duties & Responsibilities :
Primary Role
- Teach Biology at EITP (Junior Secondary), International GCSE (O-Level) and International A-Level
- Maintain attendance and achievement and class management records
- Provide regular reports on student performance
- Attend meetings to review performance
- Act as Personal Tutor to students to monitor and academic progress
Additional Responsibilities
- Help maintain high levels of student discipline
- Implement strategies to help ensure students achieve the best possible examination results
- Take an active role in the welfare of students at the School
- Take an active role in extra-curricular activities
- Be available to give extra tuition to students who require this assistance
- Undertake any other duties as directed
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- A university honours degree in Biology.
- Relevant and recent experience as a classroom teacher.
Desirable
- Experience of teaching Pearson Edexcel Biology/Chemistry/Physics programmes at Lower Secondary, International GCSE and International A-Level.
- Experience of teaching international students using English as the medium of instruction
