The Field Service Technician position at Dingli will be based in Singapore, providing maintenance and repair services for our customers and business partners. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for conducting field and workshop maintenance on our EWP's (Elevated Work Platforms) and Material Handling products. This includes performing inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance tasks. In addition, you will be involved in inventory management, as well as traveling to customer sites and entertaining clients.
Successful applicants for the Field Service Technician position will possess the following:
- Trade certified qualifications in either a mechanical or auto-electrical field
- Knowledge of maintenance, inspection, and repair procedures with construction or agricultural equipment
- At least 2 years of post-trade experience working on EWP equipment (experience is looked upon favorably)
- Excellent attention to detail and strong computer and communication skills
- Reliability, innovation, and a desire for career progression
- Current permanent work rights with no restriction in Singapore
- A valid Singaporean driver's license
The ideal candidate for the Field Service Technician position should meet the following requirements:
- College degree in engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience as a service technician in the mechanical or equivalent industry
- Knowledge of equipment rental companies in Singapore will be a definite advantage
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel
- Good understanding of customer dynamics
- The ability to handle multiple requests without being overwhelmed
- Fluent written and spoken English
