Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for maintaining and developing our financial models, correlate applicable business and financial information, ensuring alignment with our business strategies and objectives. You will be the custodian of all financial models, scenarios, planning, forecasting, and budgeting, providing vital information to our C-level executives and investors, aid managerial planning and support decision making on the allocation and investment of the budget.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive financial models and scenarios for strategic planning & forecasting, providing financial forecast/budget/business plan.
  • Develop a strong understanding of external and internal issues that can affect the financial models, and effectively optimise limited resources to support decision-making.
  • Identify gaps and solution to improve the management of financial resources and try to reduce businesses’ operational and production costs.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, perform risk assessments, optimise financial/strategic planning and recommend solutions. Maintain strict alignment of the funding plan with the overall business plan and forecasts.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports. Prepare regular financial updates for government agencies, shareholders, and applicable stakeholders.
  • Prepare management reports for internal and external requirements, as well as protect sensitive and confidential information.
  • Explore and support different investment opportunities and financing needs.
  • Ensure seamless integration of financial planning with technology, engineering, operations, production, costing, and financing teams. Highly effective collaboration with various departments to ensure financial strategies support company-wide goals.
  • Develop initiatives and policies that may improve financial growth.
  • Support audit compliance/requirements.
  • Support finance related projects.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field with relevant knowledge and experience. Master’s degree, CFA or CPA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in financial analysis. Related industries and corporate structure experience are pluses.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and financial software applications, familiar with analysis methods, data management and reporting software.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling, scenario analysis, and budgeting. Hands on and highly meticulous yet keeping big picture in check.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation, reporting, organisational and project management skills.
  • Excellent in communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. Proven experience in managing both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with excellent collaboration in a team environment and across multiple departments.
  • Passionate, energize and compose with agile and versatile working conditions with proven high-quality deliverables.
