CYSREN invites applications for the position of Research Associate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building a simulation environment with the simulator Virtual Test Drive (VTD), including spawning scenarios to VTD and subscribing scenario execution messages from VTD
- Developing diverse initial scenarios for ADS testing
- Developing and Implementing algorithms to automatically generating critical scenarios for ADS testing
- Performing analysis for the generated critical scenarios and identifying potential root causes in the ADS under test
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in computer science, robotics, control, or other related areas
- Experience on ADS testing, software testing, motion planning, searching-based algorithms, formal methods, and deep reinforcement learning
- Familiar with Python, ROS, Fast-DDS, and deep learning frameworks
- High-quality publications in top-tier robotics/intelligent vehicles/control/software engineering journals or conferences will be a plus
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Familiar with the VTD simulator will be a plus
