Job Description
Sales and Customer Relationship Management (Full Responsibility):
- Independent customer and market responsibilities
- Identification of new opportunities with products lines and markets for new and existing client base in the South East Asia Region
- Customer visits to identify key customer decision makers and understand respective distributor and end customer needs to leverage customer centric offering using Continental value-add belting solutions
- Strengthen and develop the relationship with the distributor’s and end customer
- Analyse and track product performance and completion of basic conveyor inspections and reports
- Train customers and distributors on value and solutions of Continental products
- Responsible for contract management (e.g. contract negotiation) and quotation management (e.g. submission of RFQ, quotations follow-ups)
Sales & Commercial Planning (Full Responsibility):
- Create customer sales plans, market and competitor analysis, and customer strategy based on segment targets / budget
- Develop EBIT & turnover forecast of existing customers
Reporting of sales figures & FC Internal Coordination (Shared Responsibility):
- Support budget definition process and handle payment-related matters
- Organize promotional activities for the customer and distributor and participate at exhibitions
- Provide product performance feedback, price trends and win-loss analysis
- Responsible for new product launch
- Work closely with CES, dsitribution and other central functions to promote product sales
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in customer facing sales.
- Experience in mining or other extraction related industries.
- Willingness to travel through out the region to develop business. self driven, motivated and confident in the use of MS Office, e.g., excel, powerpoint etc.
