Wireless Communication – FPGA Design Engineer
The candidate should be a dynamic and self-motivated individual that has a strong interest in advanced communications systems for use in land, maritime, defense, satellite and space applications. The candidate will work on projects which are exciting, demanding, rewarding and have opportunities to learn and grow on the job.
Responsibilities
· Design and develop signal processing algorithms for wireless communication systems and acquire mastery of relevant tools
· Conduct simulations on end-to-end system with various RF impairments and channel fading conditions
· System integration, prototype bring-up, performance characterization and optimization
· Physical layer validation, field testing, debugging and troubleshooting
Requirements
· Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar field of studies with relevance to Infocommunication
· Good understanding of wireless communications system, signal processing techniques or RF system
· Experience in simulation tools, programming and scripting languages (MATLAB, VHDL, Verilog, C/C++, Python, Ruby) is a plus
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills
· Thorough, disciplined, methodical, and good documentation habits
· Able to work independently as well as within a multi-cultural team spread
