The Digital Technology Manager (DTM) coordinates Convertium’s web technology team to deliver best-in-class thinking, planning and execution of digital solutions.
This role requires expansive interest and skills in a broad range of digital technologies, including frontend and backend development, web infrastructure, and cybersecurity. Besides team coordination, the DTM is involved with solutioning and consultanting.
People management and mentoring skills are important. You will be working with a diverse team of web technologists, including frontend and backend developers, web operators, and QA specialists.
Expect to work on a wide range of clients' industries, including financial services, automotive, education, hospitality, and government. This is a client-facing role.
The DTM reports to the management supervisor of the Web Technology practice.

Required Skills & Knowledge
- Web programming (Java and/or .NET)
- RESTful (or Web Services or API)
- Client-side scripting and web mark-up (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)
- System architecture (hosting, network, hardware and software)
- Software development methodologies and programming best practices, including standards-based coding
- Enterprise CMS (Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Sitecore, Kentico, etc)
- Load testing (e.g. JMeter) and web security penetration testing tools (e.g. OWASP).
- Code versioning – Git (e.g. BitBucket)
- Coaching, mentoring, and cultivation of direct reports
- Client partnering
- Strong command of spoken and written English
