Job Description
- Ensure and maintain in site co-ordination of housekeeping and safety activities for the concerned modules with various disciplines
- Liaise with Project Lead / Superintendent to understand and follow up of the project schedules. Expedite the equipment installation works to achieving targeted progress
- Updating and reporting project progress reports and plan for one week look ahead of activities to be completed
- Assist in manpower and resource scheduling and deployment, daily manpower deployment and allocation
- Attend daily VSCC meeting
- Obtain hot work permit and entry into confined space permits or any other work permit system
- Monitor job progress and ensure quality work at targeted schedule
- Prepare reports on job status, work completion and report to the Project Engineer
- Lead all inspections and ensure proper handling over to clients
- Liaise and coordinate with other departments on project issues
- Able to provide guidance and training to subordinates in the course of work
- Ensure that his workers are trained and instructed on the proper and safe working procedures
- Maintain safe and healthy working environment in workplace and to ensure correct safety practices are adopted by all men under his charge
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance working experience in Marine Shipyard
- Excellent written and good communicative skills, able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork
- Able to handle mechanical equipment installation on FPSO module, load test and preservation of valves, instruments and mechanical equipment
- Flange management on piping will be a plus point
