Job Description
The Accounts Executive reports to the director in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department. He/She covers duties such as work that is specific to bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, stocktaking or other accounting tasks. He/She works specifically with accruals, fixed assets accounting or the monthly and yearly finalisation of accounts. He/She may be called on to participate in ad-hoc finance-related projects when necessary.
Main Responsibilities
(1) Enter accurate and timely data into the accounting system.
(2) Calculate customer account balances and reconcile with totals.
(3) Compile the relevant business documentation used in banking processes.
(4) Maintain accurate financial records and statements.
(5) Perform month-end closing activities.
(6) Retrieve system reports from the accounting system for managements use.
(7) Manage Assignments and Deadlines.
Requirements
(1) Minimum Diploma in Accounting.
(2) At least 1 year of accounting experience.
(3) Experience in accounting software - Quickbook, MYOB is an added advantage.
(4) Fluent in English and Chinese is a must.
