Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects. Coordinate BU resources, timeline, and deliverables to ensure successful completion within schedule. Regularly review projects progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage and lead the project team to realize the project QDC objectives (estimate, plan and track the project development activities).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including BU, staff customers and partners.
- Take ownership and keep track of customers’ request and project issues, and work closely with team for resolution on quality, delivery, and cost.
- Make recommendations to prevent problems and manage potential risks when necessary.
- Need to be flexible to adapt to deadlines, changing schedules and requirements, and unpredictable events.
- Frequent travel for new project kick-off, project progress discussion and alignment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Computer, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience as Program Manager with project management skills in industrial or automotive industry.
- Ability to manage the different phases of the project life cycle, budgets, contracts, schedule, risk, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize and manage pressure.
- Good communication skills.
- Possess Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) is an added advantage.
- Experience in cost and effort estimation for project quotations.
- Willingness to travel frequently in Asia region, such as India.
