RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide second-level technical support for datacenter and building networks, including WAN and LAN environments.
- Manage and maintain firewall systems, ensuring security policies and configurations are up to date.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to various network devices, such as routers, switches, and load balancers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network changes and upgrades.
- Monitor network performance and security, identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities and risks.
- Participate in the design and implementation of network solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Document network configurations, changes, and incidents according to standard procedures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of network support processes and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/ Information Technology/ Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a network support role, with a strong focus on datacenter and building networks.
- In-depth knowledge of firewall management and experience with firewall technologies, including Checkpoint and Palo Alto.
- Proficiency in supporting a variety of network devices, including Cisco routers and switches.
- Familiarity with WAN and LAN technologies, including routing protocols and network segmentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Relevant certifications in network technologies, such as CCNA, CCNP, Check Point Certified Systems Administrator (CCSA), and Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), are advantageous.
