A global Water Treatment Equipment & Solutions MNC is looking for a Innovations & Business Development Manager (ASEAN). This is an unique role where the primary focus is on identifying new business opportunities through R&D and innovation solutions.
Core Product: Water Treatment Pumps, Valves, Piping, Fittings etc.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for all sales and BD for new product innovations
- Spearhead new business ventures and opportunities through technology initiatives and innovations
- Qualify potential product segments and sales strategies for markets/customers
- Collaborate closely with R&D and Sales team across Asia on new technology movements
- Provide commercial support to research team and help identify the gaps/solutions needed in the market
- Product marketing development for ASEAN market
- Provide technical expertise/support on engineering solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Engineering, Environmental Science or any other relevant disciplines
- 8+ years of sales / product marketing / business development experience in water treatment equipment or solutions
- Proficiency in product marketing development
- Entrepreneurial mind-set with a drive for new innovation
- Ability to translate new R&D ideas into business solutions for the market
- Strong business network and ability to travel regionally across ASEAN
