Responsibilities:
- Manage the claim process by identifying potential claims from customers, 3rd party service providers, or internal departments, and coordinating with the insurance team appropriately to open claim files.
- Discuss claim notifications from customers and/or 3rd party service providers, such as carriers, haulers, rail operators, terminals, and local authorities, with internal departments.
- Lead and guide in claim incident management, collaborating with other Business Units as necessary.
- Verify liability based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), agreements, terms, and conditions, where applicable.
- Liaise with internal departments, business units, and 3rd parties to mitigate and minimize further losses and damages in ongoing claim cases.
- Propose cost recovery whenever applicable and possible.
- Attend to claim-related documents, such as Letters of Indemnity (LOI), liability or no further liabilities letters, invoices, etc.
- Follow up with other offices, business units, departments, and 3rd parties regarding ongoing/open claim cases.
- Provide updates to the insurance team, claim department, and management on open claim cases, sharing monthly/weekly overviews.
- Assist the Operation Manager on operational matters as assigned, with a focus on meeting Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets and improving operational efficiency.
Requirement
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years relevant supervisory experience in operations and claim
- Strong team player with good initiative and ability to work independently
