Role and responsibilities:
- Experienced professional with a strong track record in providing internal support, with experience representing the company at client events and update meetings as the topical expert on ESG.
- Strong understanding of the investment platform and the company's sustainability proposition both at corporate level and for the relevant portfolio of investments.
- Familiar with clients' needs on ESG topics; articulate the company's investment, value-creation and operational proposition to clients.
- Prepares marketing presentations for ESG funds, manages both internal and external communication end to end.
- Trains sales and sales support professionals on ESG topics and provides support on ESG-related queries from prospects and clients.
- Managing projects that contribute to the fundraising results of ESG funds, including the preparation of in-house due diligence meetings and inputs to RfPs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop solutions for both clients and client-facing teams to consume ESG data.
- Capitalize on established client relationships, leverage insights into clients' interests to develop comprehensive sustainability reports for the company's products that exceed client expectations while respecting regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- BA/BSc in finance, accounting, economics, or a relevant discipline. MA/MSc preferred.
- Minimum four years of experience in business development, marketing/sales and/or general finance/reporting functions; experience with ESG funds and ESG data will be an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills, and a strong desire to learn and succeed.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- A humble and enthusiastic individual with a passion for private markets.
- An understanding of private markets and prior industry experience would be a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to work to tight deadlines in a challenging environment.
