The Conference Assistant/ Conference Marketing Assistant position is a full-time role based in Singapore. Your main responsibility will be to assist in organizing and managing academic events, both online and offline, such as conferences.
As a Conference Assistant/ Conference Marketing Assistant you will:
- Source, select and secure the participation of leading scientist speakers through research, networking, and existing contacts.
- Create compelling conference materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital content.
- Prepare the marketing strategy to promote the events to reach more audience, promoting the conference through various channels, such as social media, email campaigns,academic networks, content marketing, and SEO strategy.
- Taking full ownership of each event project and ensuring that all tasks are completed within the given deadlines.
- Ensuring exceptional on-site execution of the conferences to meet customer expectations.
- Post-Conference Evaluation: Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to assess the success of the conference & assist in analyzing data and preparing comprehensive reports for future improvements.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor or Master's degree in any subject.
- At least 1 year’s experience is preferred.
- Excellent self-organization, including meeting work targets.
- Possess and unparalleled work ethic with a high sense of urgency.
- Proactive and follow through on commitments.
- Curious about people and love to speak, build and nurture relations.
- An excellent communicator verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work closely with the cross functional team.
