Responsibilities

  • Responsible for month end closing activities, including Journal Postings, Account reconciliations, Balance Sheet Substantiation and Analysis and Month End cut off control checks.
  • Responsible for consolidation of financial statements
  • Prepare management accounts and financial statements for reporting purposes.
  • Prepare/maintain for audit purposes, supporting documentation for financial statements and related footnotes and maintain standard list of accounting and reporting reviews.
  • Develop a good understanding of the Company’s business lines. Work closely with Business and Operations to execute end-to-end reconciliations for accurate financial, regulatory, tax and management reporting purposes.
  • Support the team in other tasks – product control, costs etc.
  • Perform variance analysis, where applicable, and identify business risks and opportunities for Management’s attention.
  • Identify areas for improvement in financial controls and drive changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Finance processes through automation.
  • Support adhoc projects, new business initiatives or system enhancements initiatives, where required.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 to 7 years accounting (financial reporting, legal entity control) or audit experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently, take ownership of tasks assigned and with good communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
  • Experience with SAP accounting software is not a prerequisite but is preferable.
