Reporting to the Management Executive (ME), Career Transition and Events Branch, the Assistant Executive assist the ME in the planning and implementation of the various programmes that we manage. It will also include other adhoc events under the office.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
Skills Future @ NS
- Ensure accuracy for number of e-learning platform signups by performing weekly verification of signup details.
- Facilitate payment to e-learning platform vendor by matching signup details to invoice details.
- Troubleshoot discrepancies, identified during bi-annual verification, of signup details by liaising with client or e-learning platform vendor.
- Tabulate signup details into a weekly report for audit compliance and record-keeping purposes.
National Education (NE) Tours
- Facilitate bookings for NE Tours and facilitate bookings by retrieving application forms and other relevant details from interested units.
- File documents into company SharePoint for audit compliance and record-keeping purposes.
- Take charge of the booking of NE Tour guides and transportation (45-seater buses) based on availability for tours.
- Make reservations with museums (National Museum of Singapore, Singapore Sustainable Gallery, etc.) for large group bookings.
- Troubleshoot problems with transportation company or unit.
- Collate Customer Satisfaction Survey (CSS) results per tour and submit to client in the form of a monthly report.
- Receive feedback from tour guides and suggest methods to implement feedback into current itineraries.
Career Transition Events
- Execute tasks on actual day of event (Attendance taking, manning concierge booth).
Requirements:
- GCE ‘A’ Level/ Diploma/ITE Certification in any discipline.
- Prior relevant experience in Event Management / Engagement is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel would be beneficial.
- Possess positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member of a team in a dynamic environment and under pressure to meet deadlines
- Good interpersonal, communication and writing skills.

- WFO (M-F: 8am - 5.30pm)
- Working Location: Depot Road, shifting to Bukit Gombak area (walking distance from Cashew MRT) in this year June/July (2024).
