1. HDB, LUP and Design and Build projects
2. Overseeing the shop drawings production, which are predominantly en-tasked to the senior engineers.
3. Provide technical support in view to resolve site complications arising from shop drawing or production errors.
4. Manage the design Team.
5. Endorse on the shop drawings for submission.
6. To act as a ‘mentor’ and provide guidance to the young engineers in all respects.
7. Maintain good rapport with existing clients and industry players.
8. Liaise with Main Contractor on all drawing issue by attending weekly meetings, as well as attending meetings with Consultants on design issues, come up proposals or counter-proposal for precast design.
9. Discrepancies feedback by drafters need to be highlighted through email, phone or meeting, keep track of all the discrepancy feedback reply and remind main con of any unsolved discrepancy feedback.
10. Responsible for all precast drawing issue (check drawings, look through arch and cs drawing to ensure that all discrepancies are being highlighted to main con)
11. Drawing schedule/ program planning for drafter,
12. Ask for master program, M&E details, lift contractor drawings, window frame approval shop drawings, lifting anchor, tie back details, mesh barricade location and details, propping details, insert details, gondola hook details from main con. Keep track of all the updates and revised copies
