- Responsible for designing and performing bench-scale tests and pilot testing related to the company's separation process technology. Some tests may require a rotating shift schedule.
- Create and review validation protocols for bench-scale tests and pilot testing activities.
- Conduct investigations and resolve any discrepancies identified during bench-scale tests and pilot testing activities
- Work collaboratively with process engineers to develop innovative technologies and enhance existing ones.
- Collaborate with the sales team to formulate commercialization strategies for new technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to separation processes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or relevant fields.
- At least 2 years of analytical testing experience in petrochemical/pharmaceutical/flavor and fragrance environment.
- Understanding of the separation processes, including distillation, liquid-liquid extraction, and crystallization.
- Having experience in designing and conducting bench-scale tests and pilot testing, as well as expertise in developing and reviewing validation protocols, is considered advantageous.
- Having a foundational understanding and experience in analytical chemistry, as well as familiarity with various analytical equipment, is considered advantageous.
- Able to conduct Risk Assessment methodologies in Process Safety, including PHA (Process Hazard Analysis), What-ifs, and Change Management.
