Project Associate

Responsibilities:

  • Identifies the project's goals, objectives, and scope and creates a project plan that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey and direct information across offices and project teams
  • Adaptable and problem solving, managing internal and external stakeholders, manage risks and issues, and monitor progress to ensure that the project stays on track
  • Creating an accurate timeline of project completion to ensuring tasks are finished within the confines of the assignment
  • Anticipates delays that may occur and apprises the team of any changes
  • Responsible for project milestone deliverables and obtaining sign-offs as required
  • Accountable for managing project scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, maintaining a focus on overall project success
  • Project budget management
  • Work closely with Project Director to manage project and design processes to ensure timely delivery of project deadlines
  • Ensure that the projects are on track at every stage of the project life cycle. Manage change requests, anticipating and addressing issues, prompt handling of project delays and risks to ensure successful outcome
  • Demonstrate understanding of the relationship between design and constructability
  • Contributes to firm-wide design excellence and problem solving
  • Provide influencing ideas to enhance team productivity
  • Ensure project filing is accordance to officewide standard system
  • Incorporates integrated sustainable design solutions into projects
  • Participates in managing client relationships and representing Company Brand when meeting with clients and other consultants
  • Attend presentations and meetings with client, consultants, and key stakeholders
  • Understands company agreements, contracts, and deliverables, and assures that company standards for project management are met
  • Participates in professional organizations and events for the promotion of the firm and its services, sometimes outside of normal business hours
  • Travel internationally for project meetings, site visits and business development
  • Any other duties assigned by the team leader but not limited to the above

Requirements:

  • A holder of Degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture discipline
  • Experienced in relevant industry for a minimum of 7 years with proficiency in design and project management
  • Experience in leading build projects from initiation to project closure
  • Excellent in communicating sills
  • Excellent analytical skills (critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills)
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office
  • Experienced in working overseas or in an international environment would be an advantage
  • Positive attitude, initiative, responsible, mature, self-motivated, resourceful, a team player and possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
