A local law firm boasting a full-service practice, our client is now recruiting a family lawyer to add to their practice. Applicants will need prior experience advising on a range of dispute resolution matters and should be able to work independently. Singapore qualifications are a pre-requisite and training will be provided for the chosen individual. Applicants with no prior experience but with a keen interest in this practice will be considered.
The role is focused on advising and assisting an exceptional client base and will involve:
- Working in a team of Family lawyers of diverse backgrounds and expertise.
- Drafting of legal documents and correspondence
- Legal research
- Attending court hearings
- Taking instructions at client meetings
- Attending mediation or other settlement meetings
Technical skills and experience
- NQ to three years PQE with experience in family law
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Analytical, organised and can demonstrate initiative
- Able to work as part of a dynamic team and also independently
- Good command of English
- Proficient in PC skills e.g., Word, Excel & etc
