OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE:
People and Culture Manager responsible for the full spectrum of Human Resources functions in Singapore and Malaysia.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the effective day-to-day business partnering of the full spectrum of HR functions for all hubs in Singapore and Malaysia;
- Manage monthly payroll including processing overtime hours and employees’ payslips, and timely submission of all statutory payments;
- Liaise with line managers on manpower requirements to ensure timely deployment of resources in support of business operations;
- Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers/ supervisors to coach and educate employees on business requirements;
- Liaise with government authorities and agencies on employee related matters which are not limited to work pass management, statutory submission of CPF, IR8A & IR21, administration of NS, maternity, childcare, paternity leave claim and training grant and report & survey submission;
- Supervise People and Culture executive to maintain accurate HR database and up to date employee’s personal records in P-file;
- Drive employee engagement activities and assist to improve internal communication processes;
- Produce timely accountability reports and provide quality counsel on human resources issues;
- Keep abreast of industry trends, practices and statutory guidelines and deep dive into HR solutions;
- Perform other duties as Group Head of People and Culture or senior management assigned.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
- Candidate must possess at least Degree in Human Resource Management, or equivalent;
- At least 4 years of working experience as Human Resource generalist and experience;
- Extensive knowledge of updated Singapore and Malaysia employment laws and HR practices;
- Possess problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills;
- Able to start working immediately is a plus;
- Familiar with payroll software (BIPO) will be advantageous;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Meticulous, detailed, well-organized and able to work independently to meet datelines;
- A good team player, resourceful and be able to work independently.
