Overview
As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible to optimize the performance of mechanical products, machinery, and equipment. You will assist the Maintenance Supervisor to analyze performance results and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery, which also covers maintaining electrical, plumbing, mechanical and related systems.
Responsibilities
1) Support maintenance function within the production department.
2) Perform in improvement project on regular basis.
3) Attend to all breakdowns of equipment.
4) Update maintenance records.
5) Determine material, equipment and supplies to be used and raise Purchase Requisition accordingly.
6) Carry out repair work within the factory for all machineries and facilities within capability.
7) Schedule maintenance of factory’s machineries and facilities.
8) Liaise with Company’s contractors and vendors for all repairs of machineries and maintenance of facilities.
9) Perform routine tasks such as machineries and equipment quality inspection system verifications and conformity to establish standards.
10) Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
11) Comply with safety regulations and Company’s standards.
12) Ensure that all ISO documentations relating to Technical / Maintenance of plant machineries and facilities are up-to-date.
13) Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management and the designated manager.
Requirements
1) At least ITE Certificate in Mechatronics / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
2) Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in manufacturing industry.
3) Experience in manufacturing and construction industry will be an advantage.
4) A good team player.
5) Physically Fit & Healthy.
6) Hardworking and driven.
7) Computer literate with MS Word, Excel, Power Point etc.
