Responsibilities:
- Create 3D BIM models for the respective disciplines (architecture, civil & structural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering) with ArchiCAD based on designs by the architects and engineers, including the validation of the level of detail, accuracy of the model content and model quality control before the release or exchange of models with other parties
- Assist architects and engineers to ensure compliance with the various design and regulatory requirements of the respective disciplines (architecture, civil & structural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering)
- Implement Virtual Design & Construction methodologies, processes and standards for the respective disciplines (architecture, civil & structural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering) as documented in the project VDC Execution Plan
- Coordinate with other disciplines and stakeholders (e.g. contractors) on the implementation of Virtual Design & Construction, particularly the appropriate data flow within the discipline and with other parties according to the project VDC Execution Plan
- Participate in coordination meetings and 3D review sessions
Requirements:
- Diploma, Higher NITEC or NITEC in the respective disciplines (architecture, civil & structural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering) or other relevant fields, good interpersonal skills, be meticulous and independent, have pleasant disposition and effective communication skills
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the: creation of 3D BIM models using BIM authoring software for Singapore building projects (preferably with experience in modelling HDB projects); and / or Tier 4 Digital Delivery Management (DDM) Accreditation by buildingSMART Singapore (bSS) will be an added advantage
- BIM-related certification from BCA Academy or equivalent
- Well-versed in ArchiCAD (completed the advanced training) and AutoCAD, and well-versed in Revit will be an added advantage. Candidates will be required to pass a modelling competency assessment in ArchiCAD
- Knowledge of Rhino and Grasshopper will be an added advantage
