We are hiring Senior IT Executive to manage server and networks across different locations and to take care of daily IT operations duties.
Job Description
- Administer Server, Microsoft Server and Linux platforms in Singapore, Taiwan, Japan and Mexico.
- Administer network of Cisco and FortiGate Network Devices located at various locations.
- Work with HQ team based in China to ensure server and network availability, service quality and redundancy.
- Monitor server network performance and high availability at various locations.
- Install and update server and network devices software patches regularly with the latest and stable release.
- Manage the access controls as per business needs and document.
- Perform continuous research work on latest technologies to improve on our network infrastructure.
- Maintain server and network documentation including audit trails, processes, maintenance, diagrams, etc.
- Ensure backup of all server and network devices.
- Ensure timely completion of support tickets.
- Manage hardware, software and licenses
- Set up of hardware such as laptops, phones, PCs, printers, etc.
- Installation and maintenance of internal software and communication tools.
- Troubleshooting / provide support to the employees in Singapore, Taiwan, Japan and Mexico.
- Establish IT procedures / processes.
- To implement on project digitalisation improvement as per business requirement.
We are looking for
- Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences/Information Technology
- Experience: 5 Years
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree holders in Computer Sciences/Information Technology.
- 5 Years of working experience in IT field.
- Experience in Window Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Microsoft office 365.
- Hands on experience in FortiGate, Cisco equipment.
- Data Centre and Branch WAN experience.
- Familiar with wireless channel division, wireless network optimisation.
- Understand the IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax protocol family
- Understand MIMO, OFDMA and other technologies.
- Understand the network access control system.
- Must have CCNA certification and good to have CCNP certification.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and support overseas colleagues remotely.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and to collaborate as part of a team.
