The Senior Analyst, Corporate Planning play a critical role in supporting the development and execution of the organization's strategic initiatives. The responsibilities will span from data management, conducting detailed analyses to providing valuable insights that contribute to informed decision-making. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis:
· Conduct thorough analysis of market/industry trends, dynamics, and competition to inform strategic planning.
· Provide data-driven insights for developing mid to long-term strategy.
Strategic Project Support:
· Support the execution of strategic projects by providing analytical support, conducting research, and preparing presentations for senior management.
· Assist in the development of scenario planning models to assess the potential impact of internal and external factors on the organization's strategy.
Performance Management:
· Design and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate the group's performance, including operational efficiency. Provide regular reports on KPIs and performance against strategic objectives.
· Identify areas for improvement and drive the implementation of enhancements to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
· Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Cross-functional & Business Unit Collaboration:
· Collaborate with different functions, departments, and business units to gather relevant data and insights for strategic planning and initiative.
· Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
Education & Experience
· Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, statistics, or related field
· At least 5+ years of experience in corporate planning, data management, analytics, project, and performance management, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment with a regional presence.
· Highly analytical, strong critical thinking, systematic, and problem-solving skills, with strong initiative to navigate uncertainties.
· Excellent stakeholder engagement and communications skills (written and spoken), with the ability to convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
· Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and negotiate & collaborate effectively.
· Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is highly preferred, due to our strong presence in China.
