Primary Objectives of Position
The HR Business Partner will be the primary interface and strategic business partner to assigned programme/ service. He/ She will contribute to the organisation’s performance by providing tactical and strategic support on people and organisation development strategies in support of the organisation’s objectives. He/ She will perform HR related duties at the professional level while supporting more than one programme/ service.
Job Responsibilities
Principal Responsibilities
- Build a strong business relationship with programme/ services
- Facilitate the management team to bring best solutions for employees
- Manages process of candidate recruitment & selection; pre-screening, interviewing, job offer; background check; candidate on-boarding
- Manages the performance appraisal processes, including coaching reporting officers on effective feedback mechanisms and champion a high performing organisation
- Provide advice to employees and manage the activities pertaining to employee welfare, grievances, conduct and discipline & wellness
- Act as a single point of the contact for the employees and managers in the programme/ service
- Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes to the programme/ service
- Partners with HR Operations & L&D functions as needed to provide solutions for programme/ service
- Initiate improvements to internal HR processes, systems and communications towards enhancing service expectations The above activities are no means exhaustive and are subjected to amendment whenever is needed.
Job Specifications
Minimum Education / Qualifications
- Degree in HRM or equivalent Minimum Years of Relevant Experience
- 2-3 years of relevant HR experience
- Candidates with prior experience working in the social service industry preferred Knowledge/Skills
- Good management skills
- Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills
- Experience in Project Management and implementation
- Proficient in MS office applications
