Job Description & Requirements
Site Engineer to ensure that work is done according to clients' and regulatory requirements in timely manner.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordination of work with clients/subcontractors to ensure on-time completion, attend site project meetings and produce daily work progress reports
- Planning, scheduling and supervision of execution of site works
- To prepare method of statements and risk assessment for all activities
- To review construction methods put forth by sub-contractors or foremen and then proposed to consultant for approval prior to construction.
- Ensure safety regulations at construction site are strictly followed
- Provide technical advice and supervision to site personnel to ensure that work on site is carried out according to specifications and requirements
- Identify any discrepancies in drawings and resolve it promptly
- Willing to travel island-wide to work sites
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Project Manager
- class 3 driving license is preferred
- Diploma/Degree holder in Construction / Building / Civil Structural / Architectural / M&E Engineering or related discipline
- Familarity With AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Able to read and interpret Architectural, Structural, shop and related drawings
