Position Overview:
- We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Events Operations Manager to join our team.
- As an Events Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events, from in-person events to hybrid events, ensuring their successful implementation from conception to completion.
- You will oversee the operational aspects, including logistics, vendor management, budgeting, and on-site coordination. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event management, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Coordination:
- Collaborate with clients to understand event objectives, requirements, and budget constraints.
- Develop event timelines, action plans, and budgets.
- Coordinate event logistics, including setup, signage, audiovisual requirements, and attendee registration.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, health, and safety regulations.
Budgeting and Financial Management:
- Track and report event financials, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- On-Site Event Management:
- Oversee all on-site event operations, ensuring smooth execution and timely resolution of any issues.
Communication:
- Liaise with internal teams, external partners, and event sponsors to align expectations and ensure successful event delivery.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on event progress, challenges, and outcomes.
- Act as the main point of contact for event-related inquiries, maintaining effective communication channels.
Post-Event Evaluation and Analysis:
- Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback and metrics to assess event success.
- Identify areas for improvement and propose recommendations for future events.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of event-related information, including attendee data, budgets, and evaluations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 3 years in the events industry specialising in Conferences and Exhibitions.
- Proven experience in planning and managing events
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good knowledge on Audio Visual, Setup and Teardown, Venue Management, Vendor Management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management.
- Detail-oriented and able to anticipate and mitigate potential risks or issues.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
