Responsibilities:
· Developing treatment plans to address a patient's needs and help them meet specific goals in Inpatient setting.
· Assessing a patient's home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patient's needs and improve independence.
· To provide activities of daily living (ADL) training for the inpatients
· Liaising with doctors, family members, carers and other professionals and keeping them updated
· To keep abreast with advances in the profession and to contribute to the development of the department
· Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities.
· Conduct group therapy
Requirements:
· Recognised Degree / Diploma in Occupational Therapy
· Enjoy working with elderly patients, especially patients with neurological and musculoskeletal problems
· Cheerful disposition
· Possess valid practising certificate with AHPC or have passed the Qualifying Examination by NYP
· Dynamic personality, is proactive, customer oriented, and with good public relation and communication skills
· Service mind-set, result-oriented and team player
