Event Management Intern, Perform In School (Diploma Students)

Job Summary:


Yayasan MENDAKI’s Perform in School Department (PSD) focuses on preparing our children to be resilient & future-ready – particularly in the Primary and Secondary School level. PSD looks into Academic Support Intervention through our MENDAKI Tuition Programmes (MTP) for our school goers. We will also engage parents and children in our Empowerment Programmes to enhance our knowledge and discuss current affairs pertaining to education.

You will be supporting PSD in various department functions – from Event Management to Data Management & Administration, as an intern and will have opportunities to learn and work in meaningful and holistic projects for the community’s school goers and their family.

You may be expected to work between speculated times on weekdays but also be required to work on evenings and over weekends, to support PSD events and/or programmes. (claimable via working hours time-off).


Job Requirements:

  1. Assist officer-in-charge on the overall planning, administration and management, and operational deliverables of the MENDAKI Tuition Programmes.
  2. Supporting PSD Data Team in distributing, collecting, analysing and reporting of data and research for all PSD’s Academic Support Intervention Empowerment programmes.
  3. Upkeep the database of programme for programme administration, evaluations, and audits.

  1. Learn about Malay/Muslim community challenges in the educational landscape and how Yayasan MENDAKI can provide holistic support in the educational pathway.
  2. Learn about programme and event management in the context of Self-Help Group initiatives for the Malay/Muslim community
  3. Learn how to derive insights through data analysis & design initiatives through data-driven evidence-based approach.
