Our client, a global company in the packaging sector, is currently looking for an 1 year-contract accountant to join their dynamic team.
The Role
The primary duties, under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, encompass several key responsibilities. This includes overseeing Accounts Payable (AP) accounting and the payment process, as well as managing Inter-company transactions and reconciliations to ensure compliance with corporate requirements. Additionally, the role involves contributing to General Ledger (GL) accounting by compiling and analyzing financial information through the preparation of reports and general ledger entries. Monthly balance sheet reconciliations are part of the responsibilities, along with ensuring adherence to corporate reporting standards and accounting treatment. Effective cash flow management, responsibility for Fixed Asset management and control, and assistance in the preparation of financial statements, audits, and income tax processes are integral aspects of the role.
Your Profile
You should possess at least a Degree in Accountancy / ACCA or equivalent, with minimum 5 years of relevant experience. You are expected to have strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate internally with team members as well as externally with clients.
