Reports to: Marketing Manager
Job objectives
- Growing the show through attracting more relevant exhibitors and visitors.
- Administer and facilitate the organisation and delivery of the exhibition.
- Together with the Marketing Manager continuously improve the value of the show to stakeholders.
General responsibilities (including but not limited to)
- Manage visitor and exhibitor database to a high standard
- Analyze potential stakeholder information and identify appropriate ways to engage their participation in the show.
- Assist with the creation, delivery and management of project plans (Marketing, Sales, PR, Media, operations and growth)
- Source vendors to provide services to the exhibition
- Prepare documents for the analysis of exhibition and project performance
- Co-ordinate and facilitate associated co-located conferences
- To be a point of contact for the exhibition
Communication
- Internal: Exhibition Manager, sales team, Finance & HR, operations team, call center temp staff
- External: visitors, exhibitors, associations, media, vendors etc.
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor degree is a plus
Requirements (knowledge/skills/experience/competency/others)
- Good copy writing skills
- Basic design and video editing skills
- Good at data analysis and administration
- Experience with email marketing and CMS platforms would be an advantage
- Service orientation
- Proactive nature with the ability to work both to a plan and on their own initiative
- Proven ability to work under pressure
- Focused on detail
- Ability to manage temp staff and provide mentor-ship to interns
- Exhibition experience an advantage.
- Ability to travel internationally as required
