Job Description
- Ensure all activities related to piping systems towards the targeted commissioning schedule.
- Proficient with the Piping testing procedures and applicable rules and regulations of regulatory bodies.
- Lead the team for carrying out N2 He test for the FPSO and should be able to develop schedule for the completing the schedule.
- Arrange for facilities, equipment’s and instruments for the job and co-ordinate the testing with sub-contractors, safety, clients and yard personals.
- Take necessary precautions to ensure the work site is safe for testing/ commissioning.
- Provide supervision and deploy manpower to perform the operational tasks.
- Familiar with test pack, blank flanges, isolations, valves, etc.
- Ensure incoming equipment meet the purchase specifications.
- Coordinate for any required joint inspections.
- Arrange for protection and maintenance of equipment and system.
- Review the commissioning work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with all sections for testing requirements.
- Plan and organize all logistics requirement for major operations.
- Ensure timely completion of daily/ weekly task assigned.
- Ensure commissioning test procedures of piping systems comply with specifications, quality standards, statutory and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirement
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical/ Process piping engineering
- Minimum 10 years of relevant in marine and process piping systems
- Strong knowledge P&ID, ISO diagrams and test pack boundaries Experience in N2 HE system testing for FPSO / FLNG Projects Knowledge in Valves and PSV testing and process piping Proficient computer knowledge with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
