This position reports to Assistant Head Chef.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
· Managing day to day operations and overseeing mise en place
· Manage the kitchen operation in absence of Assistant Head Chef
· Develop new dishes and explore new products with Assistant Head Chef
· Supervise and monitor the consistency of high food standards
· Understand and follow basic hygiene requirements and control the good personal hygiene of the team
· Placing orders, preparing team roasters, reporting inventory and wastage
· Controlling cost of goods and labour under the supervision of Assistant Head Chef
· Seek to ensure at all times our guests have the best experience possible
· Co-ordinate meetings with Assistant Head Chef and service team to ensure a smooth operation
· Actively participate in the kitchen training, with daily support and developing trainees
· Demonstrate a positive attitude with a strong passion in the role and responsibility
· Ensure a smooth and enjoyable work ambience, maintaining a strong and loyal team
