Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business plans to identify and accomplish short-term and long-term objectives of plant services / shutdowns / turnarounds while incorporating low-carbon solutions.
- Being aware of latest policy, regulatory, and technical matters in the field of carbon and renewable energy.
- Fully conversant with developments and trends in nature conservation, carbon markets, climate policy, carbon/climate, and safeguards certification standards,
- Initiate and execute carbon programmes within the organisation
- Knowledge or experience in the role and development of carbon conservation and must be able to work across a broad range of stakeholders including external partners in the private sector, development finance institutions, project developers, government, and civil society
- Be able to articulate an actionable plan for developing a pipeline of high-quality emissions reductions and NCS projects (environmental and social approach) at scale.
- Track carbon market policy developments and ensure that projects are in line with the company’s carbon efficiency and renewable energy goals.
Requirements:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 8 to 12 years of relevant experience
- Must have more than 5 years of experience within the Energy Maintenance Service Industry in Singapore
- Strong operational management and people management
- Experience in working with indigenous people and working collaboratively on carbon and renewable energy matters, ideally in the process industry.
- Strong technical aptitude, strategic thinking, organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing complex projects and a strong team player.
