Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of IT projects/releases without compromising quality
- Oversee projects from initiation to post-implementation support, adhering to SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Bring project teams together, fostering collaboration and synergy, while actively contribute to the successful delivery of projects/releases
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and senior management, and managing and reporting project status, emphasising transparency
- Handle change requests efficiently to accommodate evolving project needs
- Work closely with vendors to facilitate necessary adjustments while enforcing bank's project management policies and procedures
- Implement Clarity practices, including baselining, project cards, and tracking of actuals
- Contribute to end-to-end techno-functional solutioning for new products, and play a role in controlling defect leakage and quality improvement initiatives
To succeed in this IT Project Manager (Supply Chain) [12-months, extendable] role, you should have strong interpersonal and issue management skills.
Key Requirements:
- At least seven to eight years of total experience, including the last four to five years as an IT Project Manager in the banking sector
- High-level knowledge and working experience in Unix-based OS (Linux/AIX/Solaris) and working experience in any RDBMS-based Database (Oracle/MSSQL/DB2)
- Familiarity with key security subjects (SSL/TLS, PKI, Certificates)
- Proficient in project planning and tracking, and demonstrated skills in risk and issue management
- Methodical and process-oriented approach and good understanding of key web technologies at a high level
- High-level understanding of web services and API
- Effective stakeholder and escalation management capabilities
- Certification in Agile is a definite plus
