Our client is a MNC company in the Environmental industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Procurement Executive to join their Procurement team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West – easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various departments to fulfill procurement requirements, primarily focusing on contractor services related to plant facility maintenance and upgrades
- Generate Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO), and oversee the approval process, and ensure PO closure
- Monitor/Resolve any outstanding procurement matters when necessary
- Identify/Develop potential alternative suppliers for the company’s various services
- Evaluate the various suppliers' performance (eg. quality, pricing, service etc.) and take corrective measures when necessary
- Assess the project scopes provided by the Engineering Team, analyzing the technical details and determining the necessary specifications. Seek competitive quotes based on the available information while engaging with stakeholders for clarifications
- Provide technical advice/guidance to the various internal/external stakeholders regarding the functions of equipment/parts
- Collaborate with contractor representatives on various matters/issues (eg. specifications, costs etc.), and relevant issues pertaining to the equipment/parts
- Efficiently source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best value and terms for the company
- Verify that the received quotes meet the specified requirements and seek verifications when necessary
- Add new vendors, and create new item codes to the company’s system
- Maintain/Update a list of contracts, ensuring timely renewal of the various contract services
- Inform the various supplier/contractors of any changes/updates in the various company policies when necessary
- Prepare the necessary purchase reports, including cost analysis when necessary
- Prepare/Verify the alignment of Purchase Orders, Delivery Orders, and Invoices, ensuring accuracy/completion before submission
- All other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other relevant field of studies
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
- Experienced/Knowledgeable in both Procurement and Sourcing
