Summary
The Lead System Analyst - Business Intelligence is responsible for providing relevant foresight, drilled down qualitative analysis and forecasts for better decision making of the teams he/she is partnering and closely with colleagues to develop effective solutions for customers using the DW and BI applications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- IT Business Partnering – Analytics & Reporting
- Engage with stakeholders in order to understand their business processes, imperatives, constraints and priorities
- Build, develop and maintain automated reporting systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions
- Discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities by using advanced analysis techniques
- Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to team members/stakeholders.
- Prepare relevant presentations, reports and analysis to provide foresight to local, regional and global management.
- Understand how the data is generated throughout the systems (when and how / during which processes and activities / data flows)
- Manage the development pipeline for fast solution delivery
- Design, develop and deploy data analytics solutions for company – Data visualization, Data Source & Data model designs
- Communicate developed data analytics solutions to the organization
- Monitor usage patterns and remedial initiatives to entrench usage
- Perform deep data investigation into data incident issues. This is needs a good combination of knowledge of company data & business model, source application systems and data transformation processing
- Case management of data investigation support requests
- Any other duties as requested
- Provide BI expertise and ensure standard quality of BI outputs
- Manage providing system functionality, dashboards and other reporting deliverables from business requirements and to carry out both functional and account management duties
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Technology or equivalent.
- Solid experience in designing solutions across different business function
- Strong Financial acumen
- Experience in working with Datalake, managing data flows that integrate information from various sources into a common pool implementing data pipelines based on the ETL model.
- Strong Tech lead in Development, problem-solving skills, and algorithms.
- Solid expertise in Data Analytics tools & technologies – Power BI, Tableau, Azure Data warehouse or equivalent, SQL, Python, R-Language, SAP DW.
- Developing end to end data analytic project with Azure Cloud data extraction, modeling to visualization in logistics, warehouse and supply chain management environment
- Strong competency in building complex data marts using SQL and Python; developing end to end data analytic project with modeling to visualization in logistics, warehouse and supply chain management environment
- Min 5 years of experience creating complex reports and dashboards in Power BI, (or similar)
- Experience in interactions with senior management
- Preferred experience in Aviation, Logistics and Transport industry
