The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) invites applications for the position of Research Associate. This project involves the modeling, design, fabrication and control of a soft gripper that can be used for manufacturing purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Modeling and designing the proposed soft gripper
- Fabricate and eventually control the soft gripper
- Conducting experiments to evaluate the soft gripper
Job Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Excellent communication skills, and also the ability to work independently.
- Strong background in the areas of mechanical design, robotics, solid mechanics, or other relevant topics
