Job Scope
• Act as an additional set of eyes, ears, and hands for the veterinarian, ensuring optimal pet care and maximizing the veterinarian's productivity.
• Take the lead in communication with veterinarians and the veterinary medical team to facilitate the smooth flow of pets.
• Provide consistently professional, efficient, and exceptional service.
• Gather relevant information and client history to maintain accurate and comprehensive medical charts.
• Prioritize the safety of pets, clients, and associates by employing secure restraining techniques, adhering to standard protocols, and maintaining cleanliness, sterility, and organization in treatment areas, examination rooms, and labs.
• Educate clients on preventive care, pet health needs, diagnoses or treatments, hospital services, and other pertinent information.
• Assist as needed in surgical procedures.
