About ISUZU MOTORS ASIA LIMITED (IMA):
A Global Japanese Automotive Manufacturer with an office in Singapore is embarking on an evolving path and expanding role. The Singapore office assists the Japan Head Office in managing the Group’s interests and exposures in the ASEAN region, India and Middle East.

And as part of the Group’s initiative towards greater adoption of technology and boosting work efficiency, the Singapore Office offers a chance to take part in exciting tech projects and development of newly standardized operations that can have impact across the Group.
The Parts Department (PD) has recently re-established its standard operational procedures to simplify processes with sound workflows to ensure efficiency in communication, lead-time and cost. With this completion of first step towards improvements, PD is currently looking for a matured and capable candidate to execute the second step in advancing towards proactive sales management that capitalizes the growing demands of Isuzu Parts regionally. Pending tasks are challenging and time sensitive but will be very rewarding for high performers.
We are looking for an Order Management & Sales Coordinator with/who is:
- 2 years of sales experience in logistics/supply chain (automotive industry is a plus)
- Proficiency in SAP (SD/MM modules), Excel and Power Point
- Familiar with logistics terminologies and Incoterms
- Excellent communication skills in English to present to internal and external parties
- Good sales negotiation skills
- Good time management skills
- Good coordination skills
- Good presentation skills
- Proactivity in finding ways to improve work processes
- Able to travel 2-3 days in a month regionally
Duties & Responsibilities:
- General:
- Understand vision, annual missions and fiscal year’s directions by HQ, IMA & Parts Department (PD) to ensure holistic alignment in progress and growth.
- Steer contribution(s) towards continuous parts supply in IMA’s distribution channels by ensuring establishment of business continuity plan (BCP).
- Proactively facilitate/participate in 2-way transparent communication to highlight and address irregularities through expediting idea-based decision makings.
- Actively propose/drive continuous improvements in business and operation to upkeep overall branding of PD and self beyond industrial standards.
- Pioneer perspectives of ESG and Risk Management on both business and official matters.
- Respect and maintain relationship with all stakeholders especially in supply chain management (SCM).
- Order Management and Sales:
- Promote/upsell Isuzu Parts to assigned customers in accordance with markets’ needs which also uniquely define the nature of support to be provided.
- Proactively facilitate common understanding of plans and statuses on SPI factors across supply chain relevantly, and take the lead for recovery action(s).
- Attend timely to enquiries with value-adding services through achieving and communicating the most accurate updates especially on any irregularities that disrupt continuous supply of Parts.
- Upkeep and equip oneself with product and industrial/ supply chain knowledge in order to provide valuable advice on efficient and economic Parts supply (i.e., SaTy, D/C and MOT).
- Review/process orders and claims.
- Prepare and present comprehensive SPI report timely for each assigned customer.
- Build and manage relationship with all stakeholders to enhance collaboration on operation improvement projects.
- Support with setting of annual price data.
- Achieve agreements on business outlines with customers.
- Support with relevant BCP activities (including being a secondary person-in-charge).
- Travel as approved in managing all of the above.
- Other duties as requested by Management.
