The NTU Office of Commercial and Auxiliary Services (OCAS) oversees the management of estate leases and commercial services (such as leasing of spaces for F&B, amenities & lifestyle services), and auxiliary services (such as car parks and shuttle bus services) for NTU’s main campus, Novena campus and NTU@one-north campus.
OCAS is looking for a dynamic and adept individual to be part of the team to manage transport services under the Auxiliary Services team, including the campus shuttle bus services, car parks and EV charging facilities for the University.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure good governance and administration of contracts with vendors for bus, car parking and EV charging services.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders of the University and relevant government authorities.
- Prepare transport budget, reports and keep track of financial targets.
- Monitor & track services rendered by providers in accordance with contract requirements.
- Ensure service standards are complied with and seek improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Implement campus mobility plans and work with other providers to explore new opportunities.
- Represent OCAS in working groups with other departments to conduct feasibility studies, identify gaps and seek solutions for the services.
- Work on the technology roadmap together with the transportation plans to provide efficient and eco-friendly transport solutions.
- Manage staff and external service providers to provide quality frontline services and project support.
- Benchmark the department with industry best practices, advise on industry/market development and develop recommendations for the department to stay in the lead.
- Serve as OCAS Safety Liaison Representative of Health & Safety Committee
Requirements:
- Degree in any discipline. Diploma holders with extensive experience in the transportation function may be considered.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in managing administration / procurement, contracts management, financial transactions, and operations management, preferably in the transport industry or in an Institute of Higher Learning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
