n The Contractor shall provide integrated managed network services that encompass Network Administration and Management Services.
n Network equipment shall consist of, but shall not be limited to, hardware, software and firmware of network switches, routers, firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), virtual private network (VPN) gateway, content engines, proxy, wireless access points, wireless controllers, hardware load balancer, modems, IP PABX, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), and server hardware. The phase “network devices” shall be used interchangeably with “network equipment”
n Network infrastructure shall consist of, but shall not be limited to, client and the In-Scope Institutions’ LAN and WAN, wireless network (WLAN), extranet connections, peer-to-peer connections to external agencies, Internet connections and the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). The network infrastructure shall encompass the network services components including but not limited to, Network Time Protocol (NTP), Domain Name Services (DNS), Active Directory, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), remote access, VPN and Cisco Secure Access Control Server (ACS). The phase “data network” shall be used interchangeably with “network infrastructure”.
n The Contractor shall perform day-to-day network operation for the network infrastructure and network equipment and the In-Scope Institutions’ premises.
o The Contractor shall setup and operate an online network operation management portal as part of the Network Administration and Management Services for general access and the In-Scope Institutions’ end users at no additional cost to the client and/or the In-Scope Institutions. The information presented in the portal shall be up-to-date and shall include, but shall not be limited to, the following:
- (i) Network diagrams and equipment configuration such as IP addresses, firmware and software version for the network equipment in multiple levels, hierarchical details and categorized by respective In-Scope Institutions.
- (ii) Physical layout and location of the network equipment per each Site.
- (iii) Configuration change history of the network equipment.
- (iv) Cable plant inventory inclusive of labels and tags information.
- (v) UPS inventory inclusive of capacity, usage, support and maintenance details.
- (vi) Online job requests submission and job requests status.
(vii) Incident reports status and workflow for tracking of escalation and resolution
